Epson’s SureLab SL-D700 inkjet printer has left the confines of the lab and is making its mark in sports event photography.

A Sports Event Photographer turned to BlueFX software to provide quick, easy and fast printing of photos captured wirelessly to the SureLab in the field.

Sports Event Photography Goes Mobile

The initial request was for Hot Folder printing, but BlueFX was able to offer so much more. They can now create layouts, packages, trading cards, panorama prints, and much more – just as if they were still in the lab!

*Update - Streamlining Workflow in 2023

In 2023, upgrading to the new Epson SureLab SL-D1000 Series (i.e. SL-D1060) brings the possibility of streamlining the workflow even further.
The ‘ROES Events Module’ CSV output with BlueFX provides print automation for package printing to SureLab printers. This means that photographers can set up print packages in advance, saving them time and effort while on-the-go.
